Extra-Inning Win by Suns Over Rotters
The Aurora Suns defeated the Riverside Rotters, 5-2, in 11 innings. Alain Arnaud led the way, going 2-for-2 for Aurora. Jimmy Guyton, now 3-2, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. The win elevated the Suns to 37-18.

Arnaud had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 2-2 slider from Mike Heustess, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Suns a 5-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Arnaud.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Arnaud. "But we got it done."
