Despite a great performance by Mesa third baseman Cory Jaeger, the Alcoa Millionaires defeated the Razor Sharks by the score of 8-4 at Alcoa Grounds. Jaeger went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. Despite the win, the Millionaires have a lousy 14-40 record.

An inflection point occurred with no one out in the bottom of the second. That's when Millionaires catcher Justin Kreger hit a fastball from Javier Alba for a 2-run single. Just like that, Alcoa was up, 3-2.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Millionaires manager . "This one was nice to get."
