Razor Sharks Pull Off Thrilling 7-5 Win in Extras
The Mesa Razor Sharks downed the Rohnert Park Cougars, 7-5, in 14 innings. Joel Vaughn led the way, going 3-for-6 for Mesa. Mesa reliever Ben Bonner got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Jason Senita was tagged with the loss. The Razor Sharks go to 24-30, putting them last in the Eastern AA Southen Division.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 23-year old left fielder Craig Williams. Williams had a 2-run single in the top of the 14th inning to put the Razor Sharks ahead, 7-5. For the game, Williams had 1 double and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Rohnert Park manager Michael Kelleher.
