Tight Tilt Goes to Wildthings, 3-2
|
Alcoa got a decent performance from pitcher Chris Nagel, but it wasn't enough to beat the Washington Wildthings. Washington won the Alcoa Grounds contest, 3-2. Nagel threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Washington is now 10-41, Alcoa 16-35.
In the top of the first, David Lewis ambushed a 3-1 fastball from Chris Nagel and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Washington a quick 2-0 lead.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Lewis.
