Suns Field was the site for Eastern AA action featuring the Rohnert Park Cougars and Aurora Suns.

The Aurora Suns had to overcome a big game from Rohnert Park first baseman Mike Gohlke to leave Suns Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-5. Gohlke went 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Sean Gary.

Third Baseman Willie Trevino made an impact for Aurora, when he swatted a 3-run home run off David Woodson in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Trevino threw 3.1 innings allowing 5 runs.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Josh Dix, the Rohnert Park manager.

The 5th-place Cougars have lost 5 consecutive games.
