Rotters Earn Late 8-7 Win
Fans watched the Riverside Rotters and the Boise Dread Kings fight to the finish.

Rotters first baseman Matt Anderson left his mark on his team's 8-7 win over the Boise Dread Kings. Anderson, who leads the E-AA in runs scored with 49, belted 3 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 3 for Riverside in the contest. Riverside reliever Pete Mead picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Robert Velasquez was saddled with the loss. Mike Heustess was called on to finish, recording his 7th save.

In the top of the tenth, Anderson hit a tie-breaking solo home run to help the Rotters capture the win.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Anderson.

The first-place Rotters go to 32-17.
