Joe Russell was locked and loaded, helping the Rohnert Park Cougars beat the Libertyville Polecats, 3-0. The save went to Logan Penny, number 2 for him. The Cougars are now 25-24, while the Polecats fall to 25-24.

Felix Mora had a big run-scoring double for the Cougars in the bottom of the third inning. With Rohnert Park leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from R.J. Lawhead, who is tied for 3rd in the E-AA in wins with 5, and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cougars ahead, 2-0.
