The Libertyville Polecats got a superb performance from pitcher Evan Edelstein, but the Rohnert Park Cougars still won the game, 5-2. Edelstein threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Logan Penny finished to wrap up his 1st save. With the win, Rohnert Park pushed its record to 24-24.

Rohnert Park left fielder Kevin Garber helped the Cougars go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Garber hit a run-scoring single off Libertyville pitcher Gabe Thomas.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Garber. "You've got to get results."
