The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers knocked off the Riverside Rotters, 5-1, in Eastern AA action at EBDBBNB Park. Encinitas pitcher and Yellville, Arkansas, native Danny Wagner had an outstanding performance. The second-place Eskimo Brothers bumped their record to 27-20.

Tim Schellin cracked a home run off Jimmy Grams in the bottom of the fourth. His solo blast put the Eskimo Brothers on top, 2-1. In all, Schellin had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

Encinitas manager Logan Greening praised his team's "businesslike approach."
