The Libertyville Polecats picked up a win at Field of the Polecats, taking down the Boise Dread Kings, 1-0. Starting pitcher Nate Billesbach was a big reason why. Libertyville reliever Jay Yeiser picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Mike Trivett absorbed the loss. The third-place Polecats sport a record of 24-21.

The Polecats got a clutch hit from second baseman David Jordan. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Polecats.

"It's a mindset," said Billesbach. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
