Cook Hits Two Dingers, Dread Kings Win, 11-9
Thanks in large part to second baseman Dwayne Cook, the Boise Dread Kings beat the Fresno Running Rebels, 11-9. Cook went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Boise reliever Dan Presnell picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Clint Rapson was tagged with the loss. The Dread Kings are now 27-19, while the Running Rebels fall to 21-25.

Joel Thompson hit a bases-clearing double off Clint Rapson in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Dread Kings in front, 9-6. In addition to the double, Thompson had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Cook.
