The Winchester Mountaineers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Tristan Fry into a win. Instead, the Riverside Rotters prevailed, 8-6. Fry threw 6.0 innings of 0-hit ball. Kurt Neal picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Wilfredo Rodriguez suffered the loss. Nick McKinney finished the game for Riverside and earned his 1st save.

Riverside needed the clutch hitting of Matt Anderson to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rotters on top, 8-6. For the game, Anderson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Anderson told the Riverside Bulletin.

The Rotters now have a record of 29-15 with the win over Winchester.
