The Fresno Running Rebels beat the Rohnert Park Cougars, 11-10, at Running Rebels Ballpark. David Villanueva, in particular, was impressive. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. The win belonged to Jordan Clayton in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Jordan Montalvo took the loss for Rohnert Park. The Running Rebels have an impressive 27-17 record.

In the bottom of the ninth, with no one out and the game tied, 10-10, 25-year old right fielder Jared Scafidi won it for Fresno. With the bases loaded, Scafidi hit a 1-2 splitter from Jordan Montalvo for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 11-10 win.
