Getting an impressive start from Ryan Simpson, Encinitas beat Boise by the score of 8-1. With the win, Encinitas raised its record to 26-18.

Angelo Diaz had a big bases-clearing triple for the Eskimo Brothers in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Encinitas leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Robert Velasquez and swatted a triple to right. It was his 4th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eskimo Brothers ahead, 4-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Diaz told the Encinitas Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
