|
Dan Tillery was a vital contributor to the 4-3 Encinitas victory over Boise. The Eskimo Brothers catcher was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Eskimo Brothers are now 25-17, while the Dread Kings fall to 25-17.
Had Steve Valkenburg not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Valkenburg hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Eskimo Brothers.
