Gonzalez Homers Twice in 7-6 Cougars Win
The Rohnert Park Cougars topped the Traverse City Bears, 7-6, with third baseman Tony Gonzalez playing a big role. Gonzalez belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Cougars in the win. The Cougars, at 17-23, sit in 5th place in the Eastern AA Southen Division.

The Cougars took the lead, 4-2, in the top of the fifth inning. Facing Traverse City hurler Sean Finch with two outs, Ryan Bone hit a run-scoring single.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Gonzalez told the Rohnert Park Gazette.
