Dread Kings Rally to Win, 7-6
The Boise Dread Kings faced a tough opponent in Aurora pitcher Stephon Diallo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Boise by a final score of 7-6 in 13 innings. Diallo went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Boise pitcher Jordan Gaines got the win, upping his record to 6-0. Kevin McGaha got the loss. Boise is in third place in the Eastern AA Southen Division with a record of 24-15.

Boise got a clutch hit from Matt Coombs. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Dread Kings manager Roberto Flores.
