Alcoa Grounds was the site of a tense game between the Alcoa Millionaires and Traverse City Bears.

Behind an impressive start by Danny Arroyo, Traverse City beat Alcoa, 3-1. The third-place Bears improved to 16-22.

Traverse City took a 3-1 lead on Travis Letner's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Letner hit in the top of the ninth, left Alcoa pitcher Steve Sharkey visibly frustrated.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Arroyo.
