The 9-8 Mesa win over Rohnert Park was due largely to Brian Sanders. The Razor Sharks catcher was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Mesa pitcher D.J. Attridge earned the win, hiking his record to 4-0. Jordan Montalvo suffered the loss. The Razor Sharks improved to 24-12.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Razor Sharks grabbed the lead when Sanders hit his 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Jordan Montalvo made it 9-8, Mesa.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Rohnert Park manager Ramiro Mendiola.
