Millionaires Lose at Home, 5-1

The 2024 season is getting uglier for Alcoa.
The Boise Dread Kings defeated the Alcoa Millionaires, 5-1, in part because of designated hitter Josh Schamerhorn. Schamerhorn went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Dread Kings. Alcoa has now lost 8 in a row.
In the first inning, Schamerhorn had a solo home run for Boise. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Dread Kings on top, 1-0.
"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Alcoa manager .
