Dread Kings Suffer 5-3 Setback
The Riverside Rotters picked up a win at Ballpark of Boise, downing the Boise Dread Kings, 5-3. On the mound for Riverside was right-hander Pete Mead, who played a pivotal role in the win. Picking up his 5th save was 22-year old left-handed pitcher Ben Foster. At 22-13, the Rotters claim first place in the Eastern AA Northern Division.

Bob Ontiveros took Boise hurler Gil Carroll deep in the top of the second. His 3-run home run put the Rotters on top, 3-1. In all, Ontiveros had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Riverside manager Adrian Mercado.
