Mountaineers, Carroll Pin Bad Loss on Dread Kings
The Boise Dread Kings and Winchester Mountaineers left the fans buzzing.

Riding the 2-hit performance of the 23-year old designated hitter Billy Carroll, the Winchester Mountaineers defeated the Boise Dread Kings, 13-0. The 'W' lifts Winchester's record to 22-9.

Marcos Villarreal had a big bases-clearing double for the Mountaineers in the bottom of the second inning. With Winchester leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Adam Matthews, who is tied for 7th in the E-AA in strikeouts with 34, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mountaineers ahead, 4-0.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Carroll.
