The first-place Riverside Rotters took on the Mesa Razor Sharks in front of a spirited crowd.

Riverside Rotters starter Pete Mead turned in a top-notch performance against the Mesa Razor Sharks at Rotters Ballpark. The result was a win for the Rotters, 6-2. In 7.2 innings, Mead surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs.

Steve Cathey took Mesa hurler Mike Price deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Rotters on top, 4-2. In all, Cathey had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
