Cougars Coast to 11-2 Victory
|
Rohnert Park pitcher Rod Montalvo had a large part in his team subduing the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers, 11-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The Cougars raised their record to 12-16.
Bryan Lewis cracked a home run off Perry Norman in the top of the fourth. His 2-run blast put the Cougars on top, 2-1. In all, Lewis had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
Encinitas manager Logan Greening called the blowout loss "nothing to write home about."
