The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers had to overcome a good performance from Rohnert Park pitcher Willie Krell to claim a 3-2 win at EBDBBNB Park. Krell went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Ken Griffey snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-2 on the season. Jason Senita suffered the loss. The win gives Encinitas a record of 16-11.
George Foote had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Encinitas. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Encinitas in front, 2-0.
"Nice win," said Foote. "Not sure what else you want me to say."
