Razor Sharks Need Extra Innings to Top Suns, 4-2
The Mesa Razor Sharks picked up a win at Suns Field, taking down the Aurora Suns, 4-2, in 11 innings. On the mound for Mesa was right-hander Oscar Orduno. He played a central role in the triumph. The Razor Sharks have hit the ground running, raising their record to 21-7. While it's still too soon to talk about Mesa hoisting their 3rd World Series trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.

Mesa used the timely hitting of Jayden Butler to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Razor Sharks on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Said losing manager Oscar Figeroa: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
