The Mesa Razor Sharks downed the Aurora Suns, 9-0, at Suns Field. Jim Redford led the way, going 3-for-4 for Mesa. The hot start continues for the defending champion Razor Sharks. This was their 20th win in 27 games.

Mesa used a clutch at-bat from Cory Jaeger to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Razor Sharks ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
