Running Rebels Get Hard-Earned Win
Running Rebels Ballpark did not lack for drama.

Rohnert Park got a terrific game from catcher Bobby Wangerin. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Fresno, 7-6. Wangerin went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win leaves Fresno with a record of 9-15.

The decisive blow was delivered by Austin Wilson in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Edgar Quesada to win the game for Fresno. The home crowd went nuts.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Wilson told the Fresno Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
