Wenzel Shines in 8-4 Alcoa Win
Alcoa and Mescalero got after it at Chiefs Ballpark.

The Alcoa Millionaires finished off the Mescalero Chiefs, 8-4. Much of the credit belonged to center fielder Steve Wenzel. Wenzel went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a triple. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Millionaires. The defeat makes Mescalero 9-15.

Wenzel contributed in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Alcoa get the win.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Alcoa manager .
