Eskimo Brothers Use Late Rally to Win 4th Straight
|
Behind the hitting of Tim Schellin, the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers defeated the Boise Dread Kings, 6-4. Schellin went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Eskimo Brothers. The winner in relief was Vinny Luna. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. The Eskimo Brothers raised their record to 13-8.
Dean Hostetler drew 2 walks in 5 trips to the plate against the Dread Kings. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Encinitas in front, 4-3.
Encinitas manager Logan Greening called it "a pretty good win."
