The Alcoa Millionaires topped the Fresno Running Rebels, 7-6, in Eastern AA action at Running Rebels Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Alcoa right fielder Jared Staley. The Running Rebels drop to 8-14, as their fitful start to the 2021 campaign continues.

Gabe Rosenblatt came through with a big-time hit for Alcoa. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Staley.
