Fitz Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dread Kings
The Riverside Rotters could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jim Autore into a win. Instead, the Boise Dread Kings prevailed, 4-1. Autore threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Jordan Gaines, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1 innings. Riverside drops to 16-5.

John Fitz played the role of hero for Boise. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a 3-run home run off Arturo Feliciano to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was the decisive blow.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Riverside manager Hermenegildo Fernando.
