The Libertyville Polecats used an offensive barrage to beat the Washington Wildthings, 17-1, at Field of the Polecats. Chris Malay, who is tied for 3rd in the E-AA with a .691 slugging percentage, led the way, going 2-for-2 for Libertyville. Nate Billesbach picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-3 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 1 in 5 innings, while yielding 1 run. To call the performance of the 3-17 Wildthings woeful so far is an understatement.
