The Boise Dread Kings withstood an impressive performance by Alcoa first baseman Alex Torres to defeat the Millionaires, 9-5, at Alcoa Grounds. Torres went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Adam Matthews got the win, improving to 3-0. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. For the Millionaires, the loss makes their record 6-11.
