Cross goes 3-for-4 to Fuel Dread Kings Offense
Behind the hitting of Joe Cross, the Boise Dread Kings defeated the Alcoa Millionaires, 8-5. Cross went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Dread Kings. The winner in relief was Jordan Gaines. He is now 2-1. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The Millionaires, now 6-10, continue their slow start.

Boise used a clutch hit from Jake Willison to snatch the win. The left fielder belted a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dread Kings ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"It was a solid team effort," said Cross after the game.
