Behind a solid performance from third baseman Robby Adams, the Aurora Suns defeated the Traverse City Bears, 11-6. Adams went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Suns. Picking up the win was Charlie Hunter. He went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 2. The Bears, at 4-11, have stumbled out of the gate.

Aurora used a clutch at-bat from Joe Robinson to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Suns ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Bad luck's the only luck we've had," said Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant.
