The Winchester Mountaineers extended their winning streak.

A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Billy Fernandez led the Winchester Mountaineers to a win over the Rohnert Park Cougars, 15-3. Picking up the win was Denny Mason. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. The left--hander struck out 4 and walked 1.

Winchester third baseman Alex Natera contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 19th hit of the season and put the Mountaineers ahead, 3-0.

"We took home the win," said Fernandez. "What's not to like?"

At 12-3, the Mountaineers have played well so far.
