The 5-2 Alcoa win over Winchester was due in large part to Franklin Cortes. The Millionaires left fielder was 1 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Robby Harroun snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 3 innings. He's now 1-3 on the season. Alcoa goes to 8-9.

With Alcoa leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Cortes batted against Winchester pitcher Ronnie Roberson. Cortes hit a splitter to center for a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Millionaires on top, 4-0.

"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Cortes. "But it's all business when we're on the field."
