Ziersch Leads Mountaineers to Win
The Winchester Mountaineers coasted to a win over the Aurora Suns, 12-3. Nelson Ziersch had a good day at the plate for Winchester. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Jorge Salazar closed out the game, earning his 1st save. The triumph makes Winchester 11-3, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2022.

In the top of the first, Ziersch pounced on a full count fastball from Stephon Diallo and hit a 2-run home run. It put Winchester on top, 2-0.
