Liu Delivers Walk-Off Win for Millionaires
Winchester got a big-time effort from pitcher Denny Mason, but it wasn't enough to keep the Alcoa Millionaires from winning the game, 6-4. Mason threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Reliever Jay Altieri picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Steve Gryder took the loss. The loss puts Winchester at 10-4.

The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With Alcoa trailing 4-3, Fei-hsien Liu delivered the decisive blow, stroking a fastball from Steve Gryder for a 3-run home run. Ballgame.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Liu said, postgame.
