In a tight tilt between the Winchester Mountaineers and the Traverse City Bears, Marty Capone was the deciding factor. The Winchester left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Steve Gryder collected save number 5. Now 11-3, the 2025 Mountaineers have been sensational so far.

Winchester starter Marty Capone was a master of his craft. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
