The Winchester Mountaineers defeated the Traverse City Bears, 11-5. Designated Hitter Billy Carroll deserved a large share of the credit. Carroll was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Mountaineers. The win puts Winchester at 9-3.
