Extra-Inning Win by Bears Over Dread Kings
Led by Tim Baggett, the Traverse City Bears downed the Boise Dread Kings, 7-5. Baggett went 2-6 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Bears. Traverse City reliever Quincy Donaldson snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Joey Byler shouldered the loss. The Bears raised their record to 5-3.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With two out, Baggett hit a fastball from Joey Byler for a 2-run home run. The Bears, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant.
