Millionaires Slap 5-1 Loss on Aurora
|
The Alcoa Millionaires beat the Aurora Suns, 5-1, at Suns Field. Josh Brand starred for Alcoa. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Felix Marquez in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Justin Trunzo took the loss. Aurora, with the loss, is still a stout 10-1.
With two out in the top of the seventh, Gabe Rosenblatt had a game-changing hit. The Millionaires first baseman slammed a 2-run single off Stuart Hamlin, making the score 4-1, Alcoa.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Arturo Colon.
