The umbrellas came out during the Traverse City-Rohnert Park contest at Ballpark of Greenup.

The exploits of catcher Mike Gainer helped the Traverse City Bears defeat the Rohnert Park Cougars, 5-2. Gainer was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jason Eppert recorded his 3rd save for Traverse City.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth. That's when Gainer hit a 2-run home run off Chris London. It propelled the Bears into the lead, 2-0.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Bears manager Jeff Lacher. "This one was nice to get."

After losing, Rohnert Park is 3-6.
