The Aurora Suns picked up a win at Razor Sharks Ballpark, dropping the Mesa Razor Sharks, 6-4, in 11 innings. Charlie Hunter was the difference-maker. Mesa, with the loss, is still a robust 8-3.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Danny Rankins? The 23-year old left fielder Rankins stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Aurora up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
