Starting pitcher Donny Bisesi pitched well enough to help the Boise Dread Kings beat the Rohnert Park Cougars, 4-3. Dan Presnell snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. Bobby Martinez earned the save, his 1st, for the Dread Kings.

Matthew Alexander came through for Boise when he hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a two-strike fastball to right-center field, staking his team to a 4-3 lead.

"Donny's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Boise manager Roberto Flores.

Boise goes to 5-3 with the win.
