The Mescalero Chiefs picked up a win at Chiefs Ballpark, defeating the Alcoa Millionaires, 3-2. Starting pitcher Jason Stoute was an essential part of his team's success. The loss puts Alcoa at 2-4.

The Chiefs got a big at-bat from center fielder Greg Marston. For the game, Marston was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Mescalero a 3-1 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Marston told the Mescalero Observer.
