Due in large part to third baseman Justin Jirkovsky, the Mescalero Chiefs sunk the Alcoa Millionaires, 5-2. Jirkovsky went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Greg Marston had a game-changing hit. The Chiefs center fielder slammed a 2-run single off Pat Hanson, making the score 5-2, Mescalero.
