Getting offensive support from Soini Huhtinen, the Boise Dread Kings topped the Alcoa Millionaires, 8-4. Huhtinen went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Dread Kings. Boise pitcher Aaron Lasco got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Chris Nagel got the loss. At 3-0, the Dread Kings have played well so far.

Jorge Figueroa took Alcoa hurler Chris Nagel deep in the bottom of the second. His 3-run home run put the Dread Kings on top, 3-2. In all, Figueroa had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
