The exploits of catcher Ronnie Riemenschneider helped the Fresno Running Rebels defeat the Alcoa Millionaires, 7-1. Riemenschneider went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Bubba Quimby recorded his 1st save for Fresno. The win has Fresno at 3-1.

Fresno used the hitting of Eric Milbrandt to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Running Rebels on top, 3-1. For the game, Milbrandt had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
